"suspended between heaven and earth" is one of the projects on civil rights made by the Cultural immaginARTE, with special guests: MINA WELBY and Beppino Englaro. Precious witnesses willing to confront and describe a path of struggle as a true hymn to life. Through an artistic moment
play, entitled "Suspended Between Earth and Sky", also supported by video images, actress Stefania Mulè, who is also director, offers a journey through the words from texts such as strong and moving "The Life Without Limits "Beppino Englaro and" Ocean Terminal "of Piergiorgio Welby, who tell stories of life so dense to offer us the possibility of comparison, sharing and analysis on the topic of living wills.
Two clinically different events but united by a common goal pursued by Beppino Englaro and Mina Welby:
the struggle for the right to decide over their own lives in a secular state.

■ January 18, 1992: Eluana, just twenty-one, becomes the victim of a serious car accident that reduces in a permanent vegetative state. Beppino Englaro, in his book "Life without Limits" traces the life of his daughter, memories of her and her letters, recounts the history of man Reserved, forced by events to convey a silent people, suspended between the life and death and the touching story of a denied paternity, but especially the indictment of a man who has felt abandoned by the state in the difficult time of painful choices. In "Eluana. Freedom and life, "Beppino Englaro, along with Elena Ship, tells the story with simplicity and passion of this long battle by clearly defining the pseudoscientific myths used to disorient the public and explain a reality that could fall upon anyone and does not can leave no one indifferent.

■ July 1997: Piergiorgio Welby, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, progressive disease that crippled him and allowing him to live only with a respirator and a feeding tube liquid from a recovery room, he began to write "Ocean Terminal in which Welby" rewind the tape "of his life. This experience will be born "The last act of love" Mina Welby, a book of love is not conventional, in which they reconstructed the circumstances of a case whose legal and social issues still waiting to be addressed and that recounts the story of two lovers try to beat the disease by writing together, day after day, a love story unrepeatable.

Why do not you want blue and shiny?

The rip-off of the songs of Lucio Battisti is that they are so beautiful that you slip through his hands. The mix of words and music is so emotionally powerful as to be unmanageable. Yet, if we pay attention, the messages are sometimes very powerful. Take, for example, "Cherry Hill"
in the first thirty seconds is all psychology staff effectiveness.

First Dear
And if you really want to live a brighter and more fragrant, remove the petition with the courage from the eyes.
Decide to estimate. Understand the paradox: if you wait for someone to tell you good, your estimate depends on someone else. good if you say to yourself, your estimate depends on you. Precisely: self-esteem.

Second Act
Too often the only wisdom is prudence more sluggish and almost always behind the hill the sun.
does not tell. Do not stay to wait for who knows what masking yourself fear to act.

Third: It all depends on you
But because you do not want blue and shiny?
always find ways to give to someone else what is bad and what we do not like. In reality, everything depends on us.

Life is a continuous choice, which is equivalent to what we choose to be. What we choose to be subjected every day is a test of courage on our part: you choose to be like other people want or how you do you want? The choice is yours.

Humanoid Skeleton With Two Rows Of Teeth

The strange story of the knight in Messina

This extraordinary story I have lived at the very beginning of my career, I often I find looking back, and every time I think it teaches me something.

I had just been hired at a big company and I made friends with Michael, who was working for a couple of years. Michael was very bright and was involved in marketing. He had made the request to have an assistant, had approved, and expected a young graduate. And instead

who the proposed ... an employee of more than fifty years, at loggerheads with the company. It was called Messina. He had been fired, he turned, he had won and had become re-integrate. Imagine his motivation to work with an almost graduate. And imagine the motivation for Michael to be in office in a guy like that.

Messina and Michael were initially three days without speaking. Michele then closed the door, took a chair and sat down in front of him. "I'm not moving from here until we speak," he said. Two hours passed in silence, facing each other. Then Messina opened. They spent a day talking.

"Diego," said Michael, "this man has never spoken with anyone. It 's a poor, struggling to pull at the end of the month. She has a handicapped son and his wife died. Every morning go to the bathroom to change shoes "beautiful" to get the ugliest shoes, to keep at work. It has only two pairs. No one has ever seen, no one has ever promoted, no one has ever believed in him. No one has ever heard. At one point he became an enemy to the company and all have begun to avoid it. But I want to believe in him. "

Nobody would have bet. But Michael listened to him, respect him, yet also claims that the collaboration was to give Messina. In a short time revived Messina. He became the right arm of Michael. It would made to kill him. Michele was its leader. He, more than fifty years old, would do anything for her boss in his early twenties.

For one reason: he had heard and respected.

Michele began to call him "Knight" because he realized that he liked. Gradually everyone in the company began calling him a knight. For all internal or external, had become the "cavalier Messina." He and Michael had become a force of nature.

often reflects on this matter when we try to embark on complex speeches on leadership.

And if the leadership was just listening and respect for others?

Stain From Carpet Wood Basket

Log dissonance!

The following are my notes posted on the libretto of "The prompter," a new show currently in Filodrammatici scene of the theater, written and directed by Bruno Fornasari. Commitment, my company is sponsoring the theater and writing to me I can do to have a pass to enter a super-special price (diego@diegoagostini.it).

Dissonanze

What happens in the life of a man who is more satisfied with their work? Most times, nothing. It should be great courage to read in the routine of their lives, the critical elements that need a change. And it takes great courage to act with determination, that change the way down. Or just need an unresolved and painful suspension.

The mechanism is simple and broke it well explained Leon Festinger, American psychologist who died a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall, with his theory of cognitive dissonance.

Our minds search balance and consistency. But when it detects something not consistent corrects him, inventing an explanation that makes me feel calm. It goes further research to confirm any element of the explanation is given. So, if you know that smoking is bad and I can not stop, I think that after all I know doctors who smoke, and known all those who, while smoking, enjoy excellent health. Thus reducing dissonance. So I put the suspension in my mind.

But then, what is reality, if not the result of a mental? This seems to me true, is nothing but the result of my perception is not limited to "taking note" of objectivity, but it builds its own. The most of the time, unbeknownst to me. That's why "reality does not exist." It is I who, unwittingly, I create my own reality. What makes me more comfortable.

Tom, the spin doctors of our show, is well aware, is a professional assisting to build the reality that makes him more comfortable, convenient illusion that face us. His weapons? Basically three. The first is to conceal the reality, showing us the truth. The second is the changing reality, claiming falsely. But two weapons are incomplete, because they can be exposed. It 's the third one as deadly as paradoxical: show us the truth.

simple: whether to show my true reduces a dissonance in any direction from the spin doctor, that's it.

Unfortunately, the best way to handle it is with the help of ourselves. What do you already own, as if not satisfied with our work, we find the arguments to tell us to be safe.
But then, how to get out?

Perhaps therein lies the importance of theater: to show the responsibility to ask questions, seek answers to us.

MORTON-Partick Thistle 1-0 (League One, recovery)

MORTON 1 - Lyle rig. 15
Partick Thistle 0 -

Notes: Cappielow Stadium, Greenock, 1,267 spectators.

The Morton finds victory in this difficult home game against Partick Thiste, race recovery initially postponed in January, playing nice and not very tense at Cappielow it was decided only from the penalty spot. The Morton was expected to be levied after the crushing defeat Saturday remedied and the beginning of the race for the boys is very wary of Moore and visitors to create two delicious scoring but the quarter-hour Kinniburgh hits the ball with the arm and the referee awards the penalty Lty; rigor Lyle turns very generous beyond Fox. The Jags do not give up and thrown back in the forward looking also, but Cuthbert (seasonal debut in the league from the start) saves the door on attacks guests showing off a couple of fine saves. Towards the middle of the first half the hosts wake up and went close to doubling with Tidser and the team starts playing well, highlighting an effective midfield, although it is hard to create scoring, the second time decreases in intensity and salt nervousness, difficulty, and when guests arrive to find a shot Cuthbert super in goal that the miracle on a shot from a distance of Rowson .... i 'with Ton Kean finished a nice shot of a little side of all close to doubling, but basically nothing happens until the end of the match.

Working While Collecting Nj Unemployment

If you are afraid of falling, fall. The rest is legend

Meet Campolungo Bridge, photographed early in the morning today. And 'no longer in use, built several years ago to enable a lift to overcome a steep gradient.

When the bridge was being towed on skis because the adrenaline saliva is rising but the rope pulling the plate, the edges flowing fast. There was a danger because there was no escape, and if you fell, a guardian should be prepared to stop everything and come to his aid.

there I fell once. I could not believe, but I fell. Statistically it was not likely to fall: First of all, because those who went there was enough good, because crossing the bridge and then redoubled attention.

So why I fell? Because I was just careful a. .. not fall. When we fear the focus is on the object of our fear. The unconscious always guides us towards that which occupies our attention. If we are unable to refocus on the positive, it will work just to move towards what we do not want, and that is the thing we fear.

The fears come true: if you're afraid to fall, fall. Remember, the next time you face an important test, a difficult person, a meeting complex.
